Can you provide some sources? In what works of other authors (Vonnegut included) is he present? I'm removing it for now, you can always revert. Jay 03:19, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Sully the Wandering Tramp

I was told that Booth Tarkington may have written a book titled "Sully the Wandering Tramp" but I am beginning to doubt whether he did.

If someone knows the true author behind "Sully . . . the Tramp", please post it on the main page to this article (under Booth Tarkington) or put a link to the right author here. Dexter Nextnumber (talk) 09:57, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

Wife or daughter

As far as I can tell, Booth's wife was the Indianapolis poet Louise Fletcher, daughter of the banker Staughton Fletcher. Staughton also had a daughter named Louise but she died in 1927 at the age of 24 and so could hardly have been married to Booth from 1902 to 1911 and borne him a child. Tarkington and Wilson

What is the meaning of Wilson returning to Princeton as a member of the faculty "before Tarkington matriculated," when it says in the previous passage that they were friends when both were students there? "...before Tarkington graduated," would make sense, but is contradicted by the statement that follows that Tarkington never graduated. StN (talk) 02:37, 31 December 2019 (UTC)
