Article title is inaccurate; Publishers Weekly not sole source[edit]

The Hackett book identifies The Bookman as the source for 1895 - 1912 (see inline citation added today). But the title of the related Wikipedia articles is "Publishers Weekly List of..." which makes it sound like PW is the sole source. That's not accurate as far as I can tell. It seems to me that the simplest solution is just to remove PW from the titles of those articles, call them "List of bestselling novels in the United States in the (decade)" and let our reflist explain the sources. This potentially affects:

If other editors involved in this project agree, we'll need to figure out how to launch Wikipedia's process for changing the titles. Thoughts? Cordially, BuzzWeiser196 (talk) 12:12, 4 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm a bit late to this, but I also have questions. I'm unclear on what connection the two publications have, if any. It's misleading to say that The Bookman excluded the Harry Potter books from its bestseller lists, for instance, because The Bookman ceased publication in 1934. I'm tempted to be bold and pull both that reference and all references to Publisher's Weekly out of this article, but I'm going to hold off for now. The connection could be legitimate and the evidence just hasn't been included here. If I have more time to dig in the future, I will. Tisnec (talk) 03:15, 14 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
