Shouldn´t it read motion-picture film cameras, etc. ? --80.219.86.145 12:23, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject class rating[edit]

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 14:54, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is this Antiques Roadshow?[edit]

I ask because the article goes to enormous lengths telling us that Bolex cameras that have a label with the word "Reflex" on it are more valuable than those without it, but it never actually explains *why*. From the article, I deduce that the word "Reflex" actually means "In original packaging in mint condition" (text in quotes to be read in Comic Book Guy voice.) --208.152.231.254 (talk) 14:44, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Digital Bolex D16[edit]

Why does this article mention the "D16"? It's a camera by a company called "digital bolex" that only claimed to have licensed the "bolex"-name. And so far the "D16" has no similarities to a H16 (maybe except for the grip and the C-mount)?! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.220.3.26 (talk) 09:36, 14 March 2012 (UTC) The official Bolex website (bolex.ch) now mentions the Digital Bolex. It's a real Bolex product. 71.84.52.196 (talk) 08:15, 2 July 2012 (UTC) The digital Bolex has not much to do with Bolex except for marketing reason.[reply]

In pop Culture[edit]

In Infinite Jest Mario uses a "Bolex H64 Rex 5". This camera does not exist in this article. So either the article is wrong or may be because the book is set in the future the author of the book is extrapolation from H8, H16 to H64. QuentinUK (talk) 17:18, 27 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
