naust !? - 3^rd para[edit]

Inclusion of the third paragraph is dubious and in my opinion probably unjustified:

Why favour naust scandinavian boathouses? versus many other categories and countries.
If there is a good reason it should be stated.
The word naust may specifically refer to Viking boathouses (other scandinavian terms include båthus, sjöbod , et al. [but I am not a scandinavian linguist]) in which case this should also be stated
I don't understand the last (4^th) sentence in relation to the first three in this para.
