Needs story summary[edit]

"Kain, knowing what Janos' revival would cause (see Blood Omen 2: Legacy of Kain)" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legacy_of_Kain:_Defiance)

I don't see that here. 79.239.170.27 (talk) 15:37, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Janos' revival causes the events that lead Blood Omen 2 to happen —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.248.247.202 (talk) 14:23, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've heard that before, but nobody ever really backs it up with proof. They just claim Soul Reaver 2 caused it without really going into it. This is probably because BO2 was not written by the same people who had done every other game in the series and so we really don't have "word of god" confirmation on any of it.--68.6.182.39 (talk) 04:29, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
There is an official confirmation of this. We'll be adding it to the page when we begin reworking it. --LoK Wiki (talk) 16:46, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No Reception?[edit]

It's been shown the game got mixed reviews judging from the scores, but a section about why they were given and what reviewers thought of the game would be nice. I'm kinda sensing a bit of bias on the Legacy of Kain articles.--68.6.182.39 (talk) 04:29, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Blood Omen 2: Legacy of KainBlood Omen 2 – Nitpicky as it may be, this game is not formally subtitled "Legacy of Kain". Its cover art includes a banner saying "The Legacy of Kain Series", but its defunct official website, the side of the game box, the executable of the port for PC, the manual, and pre- and post-release official material all style it one way: "Blood Omen 2". External sources are far from consistent on what to call it, so we don't think there's grounds for WP:COMMONNAME as a rationale. Admittedly, there are a few instances where Crystal Dynamics has used the same form as the Wikipedia article on their website in the past year, but we have good reason to think this is a cyclical error (a previous version of their site evinces that they rely heavily on Wikipedia for coverage of their older games). Tl;dr, we believe this article's current title is flawed and warrants a move. --LoK Wiki (talk) 16:46, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
