Types of machines[edit]

The larger varieties are a push down type, the small 1 -to-10 cap a re a twist type with removeable handle; often used by the militatry. Many older push down 50 cap simply used a telephone ring generator as it put out a nominal 100 volts. I had one exactly like this, very rare, a handle off a telephone actuated it.
