Is the Northern Party a socialist or conservative party?[edit]

There is no clear statement of the political views of this party. On the article for it, it says there is one former conservative MP. However there is no indication of where the new party stands on political matters. An encyclopaedia article ought not be so vague.Senotshtooms (talk) 14:22, 5 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Senotshtooms: This page is not for stating political views. We give the name of the candidate and their party, either of which may be linked, and that's all, because Wikipedia is not a place to hold an election campaign. --Redrose64 (talk) 15:29, 5 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Elections graph is misleading[edit]

The election graph is a line chart with years along the bottom. However the time axis is not consistent and gives the same amount of space for each election rather than year.

The current chart gives a misleading impression of how long the conservatives have held the seat, since there have been more elections per year since they have held the seat.

Either a bar chart should be used instead with a bar per election, or points on the line chart should be spaced appropriately based on the year they occured. Garemoko (talk) 07:40, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
