Merge proposal[edit]

The article for Vulturo should be merged here. WP:N states Minor characters (and places, concepts, etc.) in a work of fiction should be merged with short descriptions into a "List of characters." This list should reside in the article relating to the work itself, so this merge is in line with that policy. Also, no other characters from this series have their own article, not even Birdman. OK, that's been 2 weeks and as there are no objections I'm merging it here. I would have placed it in the article , but as Vulturo only appeared in 2 episodes he can't be listed with the main characters, so I've placed the text from the article in the hidden section below, in case anyone else thinks he is important enough to be added here and wants to merge the relevant details:
Vulturo
Vulturo (as seen in Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law)

Vulturo is a Hanna-Barbera super-villain who first appeared in a 1967 episode of Birdman and the Galaxy Trio titled Vulturo, Prince Of Darkness. The character reappeared in another classic episode titled Return Of Vulturo.

The character was reused on Adult Swim's parody series Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law, where Vulturo is a rival lawyer.

Vulturo's powers are mostly similar to those of Birdman, except that he is evil and Dirth, his answer to Birdman's falcon Avenger, is a mechanical creation. Vulturo travels in a vehicle called the Vulturekraft.

Vulturo appeared in only two episodes in the old series wearing a superhero type body suit, and was shown to be a very formidable evil force.

In Adult Swim's comic spoof, Vulturo is more of a comic character, wearing a proper business suit and appearing to be plagued by a speech impediment. In the newer series, Vulturo is voiced by Neil Ross.

Classic Episodes

Vulturo, Prince of Darkness

Birdman's sinister foe Vulturo suddenly appears at an astronomic conference and threatens the whole assembly unless Birdman agrees to meet him in a duel that will match Birdman's superpowers against the awesome powers that Vulturo has devised. He even has a match for Avenger, a mechanical bird called Dirth. Fighting off each attack, Birdman's powers begin to fade; he flies evasively, but finds out that the lives of the scientists at the conference are under threat of a time-bomb. Given back some strength by a passing comet, Birdman rushes to the scientists, as Vulturo escapes.

The Return of Vulturo

An old enemy begins operation revenge by luring Birdman's young companion, Birdboy, to his laboratory. First weakening him, he puts Birdboy on a conveyor belt directed toward a bottomless pit and waits. When Birdman arrives, the schemer causes the sky to cloud over to keep out the sun's energy, locks \him in with a paralyzing ray, and puts him on the conveyor belt too. Avenger stops the motion of the belt to allow Birdman time to wrench himself free, intercept the revengeful Vulturo, and have him locked up.

Episode List?[edit]

Someone who owns the series DVD should put an episode list for both series, that would be greatly appreciated and would help the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.23.91.242 (talk) 23:39, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dr. Nightmare[edit]

He is enlisted by Jan and Jayce in an attempt to sue Space Ghost for neglect and royalties, before ultimately losing the case.

I was pretty sure that in that episode they were represented by "Dr. Nightmare" who is constantly referred to as "Attorney at Law."[1] I think that episode influenced the "Attorney at Law" deal, but I don't think Birdman was in it. (Not as SG's lawyer either as he was represented by Greta Van Susteren) Birdman did return in the episode "Sequel", which is a sort of sequel/follow-up to the episode with Jan and Jayce.--T. Ray Randall or no name?[edit]

This entry initially says that no real name was revealed yet in the later part referring to the adultswim show it says the name harvey was chosen over Ray Randal. what's the deal-io? Arthurian Legend (talk) 19:25, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Move proposal[edit]

I saw several episodes of this when "Boomerang" was a late-night block on The Cartoon Network, and the opening title sequence was about only Birdman, his name being the title of the series. The Galaxy Trio was merely, in comic book terms, the back-up feature. I therefore suggest "moving" this article to "Birdman (TV series)" or "Birdman (cartoon series)" or something of the sort. I previously found a similar situation at Space Ghost (TV series), which was then Space Ghost and Dino Boy (note redirect). That article acknowledges that the longer title was created to distinguish that show from Space Ghost Coast to Coast, which was created in the mid-1990s. Was this one similarly thought up due to Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law? --Tbrittreid (talk) 19:21, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Birdman: The Legend of the Bird"[edit]

Someone has added "background information" from a supposed Flash animation entitled Birdman: Legend of the Bird. As a Google search for '"Birdman: The Legend of the Bird" -wikipedia' returns no useful information, I am removing this text, as it appears to be something someone made up on their own. Ther's no mention of Warner Bros. or Cartoon Network making any sort of '"Birdman flash cartoon. --FuriousFreddy (talk) 15:55, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Birdman (2014 film)[edit]

I just moved some content here which was I believe erroneously included in the Harvey Birdman article. It is '[citation needed]' but I do think some mention of the potential/implied relationship between these two properties is warranted in the article. Walkersam (talk)
