Quality question[edit]

So I got here in November 2010, following an article in the NYTimes that mentioned Biba. I waded through about half the references at random and only found one in there that didn't exist. Does this article still deserve the questionable quality banner? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Karen Anne (talkcontribs) 12:19, 12 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

For openers[edit]

This is obviously pulled from a book or website as there are references to pictures that don't exist. Pictures should be added or references deleted. Grika 22:14, 23 May 2005 (UTC)

I pretty sure that a (maybe the only) out of London branch was opened in Brighton.

Cleanup added & later removed[edit]

This is rather a dire article that needs a lot of work - it has clearly been pinched from elsehwere wihtout much though or work - have made a start - but all those 60's fashions did my eyes in ! Brookie: A collector of little brown things 12:57, 25 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I've done a bit more - but still loads to do here! Brookie: A collector of little brown things 16:08, 25 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Biba Revival?[edit]

Biba, as a brand name, has been revived lately, but I cannot recall by whom, nor can I find any other information on this. It did happen, and I think this should probably be included, if anyone can find enough information on it.

Fair use rationale for Image:Biba.jpg[edit]

Image:Biba.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 01:27, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

External links modified[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 2 external links on Biba. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Exemplar of clothing line[edit]

Is this a good exemplar of the clothing line? The article needs one. Saw this on commons.

It's OK. Not great. But it's OK. I think I may have some better images from a Biba exhibition a few years back that can be uploaded.... Mabalu (talk) 12:53, 10 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
