Unverifiable Soundscan sales[edit]

I've noticed the Soundscan figures are exaggerated. Firstly, Soundscan didn't begin tracking sales figures until 1991, making it impossible for them to make claims that her first album sold 1.5 million copies or her second record sold 0.9 million. As for the figures for subsequent releases, the figures do not match those in the reference articles. "Bette of Roses" (1995, 670,000) - not 1.6 million "Bathhouse Betty" (1998, 496,000 units) - not 796,000 "Bette" (2000, 226,000) - not 376,000 "Sings the Rosemary Clooney Songbook" (2003, 721,000) - not 821,000 I'll wait a few days for someone to explain these figures, otherwise I will correct them. These figures should actually be removed because they are greatly out of date. The first source is from around 2003 and the second from around 2005, so the information in them is virtually useless now. It's enough just to have certifications. 88.104.17.25 (talk) 20:38, 3 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
