Religion?[edit]

In this edit a user claimed that Traoré is Muslim because his sister was apparently married in a Mosque. However in these videos 1 2 he appears to make the sign of the cross after scoring, something that is usually done by Christians. Given the conflicting information I think the religion should be blank until if and when a reliable source comes up about religion per WP:VNT & WP:CAT/R. I have sourced the religion. The other user's logic is as faulty as those who believe that a name or an ethnic origin is a proof of religion. His sister's belief is her business, and Islam permits a man to marry a Christian woman anyway. In much of West Africa, faith is very fluid and relations between the Abrahamic faiths are good, George Weah converted between them several times and never faced the ostracism that would happen if he did that in another country 2A00:23C5:E187:5F00:2C98:A4C:A0B:DF2D (talk) 17:43, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
