Untitled[edit]

The article provides a good amount of relevant biographical information about Bertina Lopes, and it is written in an unbiased manner. Lopes seems to be an interesting person, and this article made me want to know more about her.

There are a few punctuation and spelling errors. In the lead section, “Lopes” should be followed by an apostrophe in the last sentence. There should not be a space before “Lopes” at the beginning of the Personal Life section. There is a sentence in the first paragraph of the Personal Life section in which the name “Bertina” is spelled “Bertain.” Other, similar mistakes are present. The sentence structure and use of tenses needs editing in a few places, including the Profession section.

There are multiple places in the article where citations are needed, including a couple of citation requests that seem to be coming from Wikipedia. Adding more citations will be extremely helpful in improving the credibility of the article.

I did notice a couple of things in your article that could be applicable to my own article. I would ideally like to increase the length of my article to be closer to yours, but I struggled with that because there is limited information about the person I am researching. I also am now inspired to go back and check punctuation, spelling, and sentence structure in my own article.Historystudentumkc (talk) 21:09, 26 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Peer Response 1. I do plan on incorporating the feedback I received. I will first start by reading the wiki article for any grammar errors and fix sentence structure without the wiki. Also, since I added information that already existed in the wiki article I don't really understand how I am supposed to cite wiki. 2. One change I will provide to make my wiki article sound better is adding more citations. I believe by doing so, it will increase the article credible and make sure I am not missing key information about Bertain. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JPMHPC (talkcontribs) 23:22, 2 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
