What balance between WP:CITATIONOVERKILL and WP:BLP?[edit]

I find myself doubting whether I am making the right balance between WP:V and WP:CITATIONOVERKILL. I am pretty sure that I have erred on the side of the latter, so if you would be interested to trim down the citation numbers we can. I'm being a bit cautious because we are in BLP territory.
