Berinsfield has a longer history than that (but not in it's present form) - there has been a settlement on the site of Beinsfield since at least anglo-saxon times - Oxford University exavated an anglo-saxon cemetry there in 1974. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.32.221.97 (talk) 15:20, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Council estate[edit]

For some reason, the article doesn't mention the most significant fact about Berinsfield, which is that it is actually a big council estate built in the middle of nowhere originally by Bullingdon Rural District Council. --Ef80 (talk) 20:18, 11 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
