Hi all,

I am currently working on an electrotechnical assignment, where we have to draw Bergeron diagrams.

Maybe someone (who knows more of electrotechnics than me) could post the name of the physician/mathematician who came up with these diagrams?

Vervex[edit]

Hi,

According the «Robert historique de la langue française», Bergeron it's from the word berger which means shepperd. Bergeron can be translate to a small shepperd, it's not use in the language nowaday. The word come from vervex, which means ewe in latin. Over time it has been transform to Berger. So I'm not sure if it's accurate to say that it comes from Berg (mountain in german). But I might be wrong.
