I don't know if I understand your question in this context. Benzothiophene is a compound, which cannot be separated into benzene and thiophene. It does contain a both a benzene ring and a thiophene ring, but these are bound together. If you mean how to separate a mixture of benzene and thiophene, one would use normally use distillation for that, though other separation methods can be applied also.
