Meaning no disrespect, sir, but ...[edit]

I've never heard of this person. I'm puzzled when I read: "He became internationally known through the medium of one of the most successful of the twentieth century religious broadcasts, Changed Lives."

Hi, Derrick. ~~I'm Lech Walesa and I'll kick your ass!~~ (starting over): Ben's weekly radio and TV shows were on the air for more than 30 years (and still are on the air) and were carried on hundreds of stations. AFAIK, they were broadcast on Sunday mornings (you probably missed them because you were in church, or maybe you had not yet been born). He stopped doing those shows in 1998 or 1999 and focussed on the internet instead. It would be neat if we could find some hard numbers on how many listeners and viewers he was reaching. There's a list of radio stations from August 2010 here that's on his website now; apparently they still broadcast some variation of the Changed Lives program. --96.231.113.61 (talk) 22:05, 25 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Here's another answer, Derrick. One of our references is to a book called Prime-Time Religion. I listened to his radio show a couple times about 25 years ago and I found his presentation interesting to the point that I never forgot his name. I've never seen any of his videos. (I'm curious why SineBot is not recognizing your signature. Are you typing it all in by hand?
