Copied text[edit]

The main content was replaced by text copied from http://btfc.siteguru.co.uk/club/history.htm with the edit summary making an assertion of permission. The edit was made by an anon. I've reverted it for two reasons. Firstly, unless permission can be confirmed with procedures outlined in WP:C, then this is a copyright violation. Secondly, the information is written as a club history, and would be more suitable to a history section rather than taking over the entire page, and would need condensing. There is already an external link to the club site which is where this is taken from in the first place. -- Whpq 19:14, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User:Neildouglass has er-added the copyrighted text indicating that he is the holder of the copyright. I've asked that he follow WP:COPYREQ to verify confirm formally the release of the material under GFDL. I have also merged back the original article text and placed the website material in a history section. The added material needs a lot of work to convert it to an encyclopedia article. It currently reads like the club web site because it is the club web site -- Whpq 20:35, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No move has been made to release the material under the GFDL despite being provided the procedures to do so. The text remains completely uneditted in form and is available from the club website which is provided as an external link, so I've remved teh history section. -- Whpq 11:41, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
