Move[edit]

I suggest this article be moved to: Battle of Nineveh Leaving out the (612 BC) Burningview (talk) 02:26, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I actually agree. Unless, of course, there's another Battle of Nineveh that this could be confused with. Masterhatch (talk) 16:16, 13 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It's been a week. No one seems to object to moving this article. Masterhatch (talk) 19:45, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
LOL! I guess I object to moving it. Looks like there was another Battle of Nineveh in AD 627! Masterhatch (talk) 19:50, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Elamites in the infobox[edit]

The Elamites were not part of the Median Empire, so they should not be listed under the Medes in the infobox. Furthermore, the Elamites did not even participate in this battle. (Ancient Iraq, Georges Roux, p. 375) I have therefore removed them from the infobox. King Philip V of Spain (talk) 13:09, 9 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

For the love of God there should be many many citations in the section about sources. The entire article needs more citations but it seems especially farcical that a section about sources is unsourced. 136.167.36.134 (talk) 02:48, 6 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Bible references[edit]

There could be some mention of Biblical rejoicings over the fall of Nineveh, such as the Book of Nahum... AnonMoos (talk) 01:54, 29 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
