This article seems to be told like a story! Can somebody (preferably, an expert) fix this? --queso man 17:55, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling[edit]

Boroughmuir or Burghmuir or Burgh Muir? It took me ages to find this article because of the irregular spelling. Can we confirm this is the usual form? 61.68.167.135 (talk) 02:38, 14 September 2010 (UTC) Either spelling is reasonably acceptable, thought Burghmuir would be the more traditional form. The page is a bit 'purple' and does read like a story, but it's basically pretty sound and in line with the source material. The writer has attributed 300 men to the Scottish force in rthe box, but corrects this in the text. There is no information on the size of the Scottish force. Given the nature of rthe action - a running fight over some miles - we should expect the action to have been a fight beteen the men-at-arms on both sides with the English infantry lost on the road between Burghmuir and the castle.[reply]
