Hip dysplasia (human) link[edit]

When I split the human page off from the canine one the Barlow maneuver page didn't exist yet. Only Ortolani was up. Now that both exist, I'll remove the text below from Hip dysplasia (human). If, in future this article (Barlow maneuver) should be moved or deleted, kindly put the below text or something similar back on the Hip dysplasia (human) page. Thanks.

Example: With the baby placed on a firm surface in the supine position, the examiner will flex the thighs to a right angle to the abdomen and the knees at right angles to the thighs, grasp each thigh with one forefinger along the outside shaft of the femur, with the middle finger on the greater trochanter and thumb medially. The examiner will then adduct both femora fully and push down toward the bed. (Barlow test/maneuver) For the Ortolani test the examiner will then gently abduct each leg from the position of full abduction so that the knees come to lie laterally on the table.
