I've just started editing this page to make it more readable and so that album and single data is more easily compared which is the general idea of a discography page, right? I'm basically just re-arranging the data that's already here however I have removed some certifications (from Ireland, Netherlands, France etc.) because it was only available for 1 or 2 albums and therefore useless for comparing purposes so should be moved to the album pages. Sales?[edit]

Barbra Streisand has sold 245 Million RECORDS Barbra sold 245 million records... Records are not album sales You guys, record sales and album sales are TWO different things. Record sales are 245 million. ALBUM sales are 145 million. On the discography page of EVERY artist, their RECORD sales are listed. You guys keep saying she sold 140 million records which is inaccurate. She sold 140 million albums. Records are EVERYTHING that she sold which are singles, music videos, singles.. etc. For instance. Madonna sold a little over 200 million albums but her RECORD sales are 300 million. Mariah Carey sold less albums than Barbra Streisand, which is about 130-140 million, but her RECORD sales are 200-220 million. Record sales are not the same as album sales. I will not revert but Barbra is not a big seller outside the USA, and only 5 of her singles sold well worldwide, the others weren't well even in USA. But fans always love to see her artist on top, I think I see different, even being her fan.--88marcus (talk) 22:25, 25 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

88marcus,how dare you said that Barbra is not a big seller outside the USA? She has 6 #1 album in UK including the best-selling album of 1982 (Memories), and even only count duet, Barbra feature three times with different partners in The UK's 50 Best selling Duets of All Time (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00x311j) , they combine sold over 2 million without sales of her solo singes (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00x311j).
