Desert Island Discs[edit]

In an edit summary, User:Martinevans123 has queried my removal of Barbara Hulanicki's choices during her appearance on Desert Island Discs. The list is undue weight in a short article, while the link will lead to the list for those who are interested. It would perhaps be best if the link was included in External links where it will be clearer to the uninitiated that the programme is available to listen to. Yes, you may be right. But in his edit User:Martinevans123 then added back in Hulanicki's top choice with the edit summary "isn't there room for some compromise here? I think the choices made say a lot about the guests." And then he added a quote, given in the same source, that appears to sum up her general philiosophy of life. I quite agree that the link could certainly go in External links. Another source, that includes the subject speaking at length, about her own life, would be hard to find.
