Banshee?[edit]

But why "Banshee Chapter"? It is never mentioned or explained throughout the film.--87.184.151.142 (talk) 09:03, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The words are never spoken in the film but it is implied by context. The friend was writing a book on various subjects around MK-ULTRA, use of drugs to unsettle the enemy or unleash hidden potential in one's own troops, nefarious experiments and so on. One of the chapters concerned the drug DMT. This is the drug that "allows the brain to access dimensions or planes of existence beyond our own" Where you go after you die? After the universe ceases to exist? Those who have taken DMT report experiences along those lines. They also encounter entities "from beyond". Some are friendly and referred to as machine elves. Others are not so nice and called banshees (after Celtic [?] harbingers of death). The movie's protagonists starts digging using her friend's research for "the banshee chapter" - his informal way of referring to the work in progress. 2A01:CB0C:CD:D800:C71:2A7:3B9F:8419 (talk) 15:40, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion[edit]

This article is incomplete and is missing important information on the film's release which needs to be added to the article. The reception section is too short and needs to be expanded with reviews from notable critics added to the article.--Paleface Jack (talk) 16:46, 7 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
