Banking in Bangladesh should cover the history of banking in Bnagladesh Ibrahim Husain Meraj (talk) 13:56, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Support per Ibrahim Husain Meraj's argument. History of banking in Bangladesh should be turned into a redirect to Banking in Bangladesh, which should be expanded with information about banking in the region before independence.

The current body of History of banking in Bangladesh is a close paraphrase of the Bangladesh Bank website. Rather than copying that problematic text into Banking in Bangladesh, it would be better to write new text based on these two sources:
