This was added and reverted in the EL's - maybe there's some info in there.

H.R. plays also guitar!

H.R. plays also guitar at times in documentary a Band in D.C., in concerts and rehearsal. He is never credited on records although. 188.67.82.93 (talk) 19:25, 18 January 2015 (UTC)

Bid?

"H.R. provided the vocals for "Sacred Love" over the phone from the Lorton Reformatory while doing a bid for a cannabis charge." What's a 'bid'? I'm guessing it means that he was serving time, but not sure.Jtyroler (talk) 07:17, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

Yes, he spend a few months in a DC jail for possession. Morganfitzp (talk) 15:02, 14 January 2017 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:Pay to Cum.ogg

File:Pay to Cum.ogg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a non-free use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Why banned?

Why were they banned in Washington and later NYC? No explanation here!? --89.204.138.19 (talk) 06:13, 9 November 2018 (UTC)

Claim that band played "no wave"

The lead paragraph claims the Brains "featured elements of other genres like no wave" in later recordings. Two problems: 1) this claim isn't cited. 2) I don't think it's true.

However, I'm not an expert on the Brains, and would love to hear a track of theirs that did no wave. If anyone knows what this line was referring to, please help me find/add a citation! If not, it's worth removing. Bad Brains forever. Treelibrary (talk) 03:01, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
