Steve Irwin[edit]

The Australian bull ray is not found in northern Queensland so cannot be the species that killed Irwin. There are numerous other species known as bull rays. Nurg 01:46, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Bull Ray"[edit]

The term Bull ray is certainly not the most common for this species in it's range. The article should be titled Myliobatis australis to avoid confusion, and should be redirected from 'southern eagle ray' and 'australian eagle ray'. Dasyatis species are more likley to be called "Bull Rays". Some of the terminology is a little missleading.

nice that people are taking an interest in Myliobatids though ;).

can I edit this? how?
