Did you know... that with the exception of three snapshots taken by Sonderkommandos, the Auschwitz Album is the only extant photographic evidence of the inner workings of the Auschwitz concentration camp?

Lily was in Auschwitz, while her family were not: the photos were of Auschwitz: They were (partially) of her family. One of these statements needs clarification t the least. Rich Farmbrough 20:13, 7 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, it was stated ambiguously. Her family members were killed upon arrival, ie: they were not selected for work. Func( t, c, @, ) 22:12, 7 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Over 1,600,000 dead?[edit]

Has it not been agreed upon, that it was 1,100,000 million dead?
Ofcourse both numbers are terrible, but stating that it was over 1,600,000 seems like a factual error?
