Extraordinarily Vague Song Credits

While there is a seemingly impressive array of names associated with every song, especially on the Legacy release, it is impossible to tell in almost all cases what the names refer to: Performer? Composer? Lyricist? Arranger? Some combination? None? All?

Searingly candid

Can anyone expand on what the phrase "searingly candid" in the lead means? It doesn't mean much without more details, does it? (John User:Jwy talk) 21:13, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

finger photo?

There's no mention in the article of the famous photo of Cash flipping the bird to the camera. It was taken by Jim Marshall. Marshall tells a story about asking Cash how he feels about the warden.[1] The story I remember Cash telling is that the cameraman kept tripping over equipment and getting in the way, and when Marshall asked for a pose, Cash flipped him off. I can't find a source for that version though. But the photo was taken in 1969 during the recording of the album. All the start class criteria

Y A completed infobox, including cover art and most technical details
N At least one section of prose (excluding the lead section)
Y A track listing containing track lengths and authors for all songs
N A full list of personnel, including technical personnel and guest musicians
Y Categorisation at least by artist and year

Article requirements:
Y Start: reasonably complete infobox; lead section with overview of album; track listing; reference to at least primary personnel by name; Categorization by at least artist and year.
Y C: all of start and (1) cover art in infobox; (2) at least one additional section of prose; (3) track lengths & song authors in tracklist; (4) a personnel section including all musicians.

B: all of C and (1) most technical details in infobox; (2) technical personnel in personnel section; (3) no obvious issues with sourcing; (4) no obvious issues with readability, though it may not conform completely to style guidelines; (5) no glaring omissions of information (see some suggestions at WP:ALBUM) or extraneous information, like trivia.
