Different missions[edit]

Ascelinus and Andreas de Longjumeau both left Lyons in March of 1245 and both traveled toward the East through the Levant. They were part of different missions. See Igor de Rachewiltz, Papal Envoys to the Great Khans (Stanford University Press, 1971), pp. 112-124. For a map of routes of Ascelin and Andreas see the end pages of Jean Richard, Histoire des Tartares (Paris, 1965). Aramgar (talk) 03:18, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What exactly do you dispute in the article as it stands? PHG (talk) 13:35, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If you don't mind I'll take away the tag, as there doesn't seem to be a specific reason for it. Regards. PHG (talk) 20:29, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
