Comment[edit]

There's more information in his biography at NPR that could be integrated here.

No mention of his coordination of loaded questions with CBS reporter.[edit]

Of course the recent story of Ari Shapiro coordinating a loaded question to portray Mitt Romney in a negative with CBS reporter Jan Crawford is given no mention in this article. Nevermind the fact that virtually all of the subsequent questioning from journalists at Romney's brief press conference were the same. Moreover, no mention is made whatsoever of this journalist's demonstrably leftist perspective. More beautiful objectivity from Wikipedia! Bobinisrael (talk) 17:49, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

So be bold and add a neutral summary with information from a reliable source! tedder (talk) 17:56, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

NPR is deceptively editing this article.[edit]

205.153.36.170 is an IP address associated with NPR, and has been editing this page. I suspect it is Ari Shapiro himself, or at the very least like-minded individuals who are trying to sanitise this page of his record. Initially, an entire section was maliciously deleted by the user(s) behind this IP. After that vandalism was undone, a deceptively-written edit was applied as Plan B, minimising the controversy by placing it in quotation marks and crediting "major news organisations" with "dismissing" the controversy without indicating that these "dismissals" were from bloggers affiliated with the outlets. The omission of the bloggers' names, and their status as bloggers with the The Washington Post and Politico was intentionally done to increase the perceived weight of the dismissals in the minds of the reader. There is something very eerie about Ari Shapiro and his ideologically-aligned co-workers editing this page.99.224.41.113 (talk) 12:05, 9 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
