I recently went through and reworked Archibald Gardner's page, if there is a problem feel free to notify me. Gandhi (BYU) (talk) 20:00, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like people were arguing about this page a few years ago. I moved all that to an archive page -- way too much personal information there and crazy tangents. I renamed the Notes section to References and recategorized the previous "reference" sources to "unreferenced books about Archibald Gardner" since although they're apparently about him their use isn't referenced or cited anywhere in the actual article. It looks like this article is notable enough to keep, although the unreferenced books really should be referenced in the actual article or removed from the page. I left them in since my local library doesn't have those books yet. I added a citation from Rulon Gardner's book about his great-great-grandfather. Actually Further reading is a standard section (see Wikipedia:Perennial proposals#Changes to standard appendices).--208.81.184.4 (talk) 20:26, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm reworking the article and getting rid of information that doesn't have a source. I have also added information from Archibald Gardner's autobiography, His life and his Legacy by Nancy Long, and Life of Archibald Gardner by Delila Hughes. I'm also categorizing the events of his life. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. Gandhi (BYU) (talk) 21:22, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
