Does anyone object to me adding the Macedonian Orthodox Church ("Archbishopric of Ohrid and Macedonia")? --Hegumen (talk) 11:10, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You mean the other Ohrid church that's unrecognized? --Laveol T 12:58, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. --Hegumen (talk) 03:49, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There should be no problem. Go ahead. --Laveol T 07:47, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

Ok, besides edit-warring, could someone be kind enough to enlighten me what's the basic diff between these 3: Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia, Orthodox Ohrid Archbishopric and Macedonian Orthodox Church - Ohrid Archbishopric. --Laveol T 21:28, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dear, Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia is a the title given to the macedonian Archbishop (GG Stefan) of the Macedonian Orthodox Church - Ohrid Archbishopric. Second, Orthodox Ohrid Archbishopric is a serbian puppet-church in Macedonia, and finaly MOC-OA is the oficial macedonian church. So please do not revert me blindly next time, think about once more. Поздравче од Македонија :) --R ašo 22:29, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ho-ho, I did not revert you, as you know well. I just re-arranged your entry as it seems the same as the other one. Cheese. --Laveol T 01:27, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 23 May 2017[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: Moved with caveat. Well the requested move clearly makes more sense than the present arrangement, as none of the titles on this page use the "Ochrid" form, and it doesn't make sense to have the dab page here. But, equally, I don't think there's any primary topic for this title, so I will be starting a new move request below.  — Amakuru (talk) 22:22, 16 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I've changed my mind. Will leave things as they are. The current Archbishopric of Ohrid is probably PTOPIC by long term significance.  — Amakuru (talk) 22:28, 16 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Archdiocese of OchridArchbishopric of Ohrid (disambiguation) – This page was recently moved to "Archdiocese of Ochrid" without discussion, and several problems were created. First, the common name of the city is Ohrid, not Ochrid. Second, this page was originally created and used as disambiguation for ecclesiastical provinces, the Archbishopric of Ohrid and others. By recent move, this page was turned into disambiguation page for the "Archdiocese" in spite of the fact that we already have a disambiguation page for the archdioceses seated in Ohrid: Archdiocese of Ohrid. Since the main article on ecclesiastical province is titled Archbishopric of Ochrid, we should move this page to most common title: Archbishopric of Ohrid (disambiguation).
