Ambiguous name[edit]
This article would be better named either Province of Aragon Basketball team or Aragon Province basketball team, preferably the first. The present title with the inclusion of "autonomous" makes it appear that the team is independent of rules and regulations and is self governing - obviously this is not the case. @Richard Avery: "Autonomous" stands for the translation of "autonómico", refering to the autonomous community, from Spanish. Other option would be to call the article "Regional" (Autonomous communities are regions, not provinces) or "Autonomic" if this word exist in English. This naming problem would affect to all football (here) and other sports teams in Spain. Maybe it would be good to bring this talk to any portal. Asturkian (talk) 15:24, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
Thank you for responding. I agree it would be better to use the term 'regional' for the reason you give. I realise that this has wider implications in the naming of some Spanish teams of some other sports on the English Wikipedia. I will think about where else I need to discuss this. Saludos.
