Scholarship before the 1960s with 1 merge[edit]

Great to see this article. I would like to see some of this content added to the paragraph that I wrote for Universities and antisemitism, see text accompanying footnotes 21-26 ("Antisemitism itself became an object of university research...."). That paragraph can also be copied ("merged") from that article.

This claim in the article is incorrect, "The study of antisemitism is considered to have begun in the 1960s," because there are many prior studies as shown in a G-Scholar search such as: https://scholar-google-com.proxy.lib.miamioh.edu/scholar?q=antisemitism&hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C36&as_ylo=1940&as_yhi=1960

Likewise, another incorrect claim is: "Antisemitism was generally ignored by social scientists until the 1980s" -- though maybe this could be narrowed to polling research in the US. Thanks for the work on this article! ProfGray (talk) 07:13, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
