Work needed on this article[edit]

This articles has been tagged for a while as needing some work. I noticed that there has been some recent additions by a new single-topic editor by the name "Ajjankel" who may be related to the person that the article is about. This would be a breach of guidelines for BLP and a potential Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. Such breach is almost certainly a benign error by a newbie. The additions may be correct but should be resourced and come from an editor with no connection to the subject of the article. I have temporarily removed the additions and will do some research to verify facts and try to add to the article. Davidpatrick 22:24, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Super Mario Bros.[edit]

"Mixed critical reception"? Ha! The movie is infamously bad and has a 6% rating on rotten tomatoes - http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/super_mario_bros/. This whole page reads like a resume or something, even the example reviews for an indisputably horrible movie such as SMB are positive on this page. --68.149.181.145 00:33, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I like the positive spin on the fact it was widely panned. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.212.248.81 (talk) 06:28, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Puffery....[edit]

I've tagged the MJZ section because I feel parts infringe Wikipedia's Peacock terms policy. Namely: "....for the growth of MJZ from a small unit in 1990 to becoming one of the world's largest and most successful commercial production houses." Unless someone can provide detailed statements of accounts for all the world's commercial production companies fiscal movements over the last decade (on which their success as businesses can be measured), and compile a large visual database recording all the world's commercial production companies and what awards they have garnered and when so that an accurate comparison can be made to back up that original boast, I shall delete the offending boast! I'm sorry, but I'm seeing a lot of this policy breach currently, and it's getting frustrating.

Can I suggest: "As one of the three owners of the company, Jankel was one of the triumvirate responsible for the growth of MJZ. The company has produced multiple award-winning commercials - including recognition by Britain's D&AD Awards, the Cannes Lions Awards, the Clio Awards and the One Club Awards for advertising. MJZ has been named Top Commercials Production Company for two consecutive years by Creativity Magazine." Caspar (talk) 01:55, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"F'ckin Idiots"[edit]

Articles and content about living people are required to meet an especially high standard. I've removed the last few sentences in Breakthrough as I don't believe it falls within the wiki rules for neutrality and gossip, and may well be damaging or an edit designed to attack the subject. These sorts of comments don't belong on a wikipedia entry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.68.48.30 (talk) 07:19, 16 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
