Vegetarian information[edit]

why is that the first thing on this page is how plant food sources could replace animal food sources, seems out of place —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.129.36.217 (talk) 23:13, 9 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why has this article that quite clearly relates to food derived from animals, been taken over by vego/vegan nut-jobs? Even the links below the article are of a non-meat eating topic. Trumpy (talk) 05:43, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

In many places this article appears to lack a neutral point of view regarding the appropriateness of a diet containing animal sourced foods. Upon checking this talk page, I found others had also commented on this, starting in 2008. Thus, I flagged the article with POV. The article presents a some good points, yet there is a pervasive tone which implies that Animal Sourced Foods are detrimental and problematic. A careful edit can be done to re-write the article so it conforms to Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy. Failing that, since all of the facts presented by it are already covered in the article on vegetarianism, the article may be best deleted Debrown (talk) 12:16, 4 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not too sure what to do about the vegetarian information on this article, and I hope other editors will weigh in. Meanwhile I reorganized the article such that the vegetarian information appears is only one section. That improves the article to be more focused than the state it was in when I originally found it. RFC[edit]

This article has a section called Plant-based alternatives[1]. It is substantially lengthier than the rest of the sections focused on the article subject. What should we do about this section? I see two options.
