COI and UDP tag[edit]

Article was created by an editor who claimed this image [1] as their own work on the commons, and I can not find the image online (which would imply copyright infringement). This implies a close connection between the uploader and the subject. Pinging @Vishnu005clt: (the Ac and image uploader) for comment.Akhiljaxxn (talk) 03:21, 10 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

That sounds quite plausible to me. I have put the standard COI warning on their talk page and told them about the discussion here. I have not reported it to COIN. If there are further problems then that would probably be the next step. --DanielRigal (talk) 10:59, 10 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
While the article does not score highly on Earwig's Copyvio Detector, it does spot a few short sections copied and pasted directly from the subject's Facebook page (even including an identical grammatical error). --DanielRigal (talk) 11:07, 10 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Akhiljaxxn and DanielRigal: Hi. I have removed COI tag, as the UDP tag covers that issue as well. I added "notability" tag though. Most of the credits for this actor seem to be extra-like, eg "minister's assistant" and so on. I have reviewed the article, and added it to my watchlist. I will keep an eye on it for a few days, and might take it to AfD if it is not improved in two-three weeks. Regards, —usernamekiran(talk) 20:29, 6 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the linkfarm from the article - here are the possibly useful ones if someone wants to improve the page:
