"An amphibian is an ectothermic, tetrapod vertebrate." -Is this correct, or should the wording add "of the class Amphibia", which it also links to? I haven't found any dictionary or otherwise, that states this. All examples I can find, always refers "amphibian" to mean animals of the class Amphibia. To make it more confusing, Wikipedia also states that "Amphibious" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amphibious) can only refer to a specific list of animals, herunder members of Amphibia. The description mentioned here would also include animals like turtles, while the amphibious description does not. --130.225.21.22 (talk) 10:20, 14 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
