His passing away[edit]

I was in touch with Amit Bose by email during 2019. I learnt from a mutual friend that he passed away. I contacted his widow and asked for details, she did not reply. I do not know how to give you an eml file. Here is the exchange in plain text.

I wrote to her (monica.bose@hotmail.com) on 1/5/2020 at 2:56 pm Dear Ms Bose: Very sad to hear about the passing away of Shree Bose. I heard about it from my friend Dr Manohar Lal Kapur of Suffolk, VA USA. Sorry to be of bother, but please email me a copy of the obituary notice. Failing that, please let me know the date and the circumstances of this sad event. Thanks, Surjit Singh (surjit_singh@yahoo.com)

She replied on 1/5/2020 at 5:40 pm The funeral will be held on the 11th of February afternoon. The venue will be announced at a later date. Thank you for your message of sympathy Monica Bose Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
