American Prairie Reserve allows public access, visitation, and recreation on its land, including hiking, camping, canoeing, biking, and hunting. In addition, APR partners with various educational programs in bringing school kids to the Reserve, including organizations such as Sponsors for Educational Opportunity scholars (SEO), Montana Outdoor Science School, Montana Wilderness School, and Flathead Audubon Society.

Many of these requested changes are either not notable or not germane to the article:

Naming Mr. Gerrity as a National Geographic fellow (especially seeing as how APR and Nat Geo are in business together)
The request for a current bison census
The Ken Burns Heritage Prize
The other portions of the request require references from outside of the organization.

I have made a cleanup of the article, removing much which was unreferenced and/or promotional in tone. The controversy section has been subsumed into the section on land usage, per WP:CSECTION. Also, because the article relies too much on references from itself, the Primary sources maintenance template was appended. Regards, Spintendo 00:47, 7 March 2019 (UTC)

Nature reserve in Montana, not the organization of the same name

I have edited this article to make it clear that it is about the nature reserve site and not about the organization of the same name. Of course the organization will be mentioned but it should always be clear that the American Prairie Reserve refers to the nature reserve unless the content is specifically about an action or quality of the organization. On the same day this article was created, an article was started about the organization, American Prairie Foundation, but I am not sure it is titled correctly.
