She's been living in the US since she was four. You hardly need to give the Cyrillic spelling of her name. Unless of course you're out to smear her as some sort of sinister Russian spy.

A ridiculous assertion, there's no sinister intent. She was born a Russian, and the Cyrillic rendering is simply the original form of her name. To give two examples, the articles on Natalie Wood (born to Russian immigrant parents) and Isaac Asimov (born in Russia, yet indisputably an American as well as the very embodiment of a New York Jew) also give the original Russian forms of their names. "Russian American"

The first sentence describes Minkovski as "Russian American," yet she said in the Brian Lamb interview (cited in the article) that she considers herself American. I see no contradiction. She's an American of Russian birth. The description links to the main article on Russian Americans, similar to other articles on Americans coming from, or descended from those who came from, other countries.MarkVolundNYC (talk) 14:46, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
