  • I'll start reviewing in one or two days. Sorry for the delay. Novice7 | Talk 14:57, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • No dead link
  • No Dab link

Lead[edit]

  • References on the lead are not encouraged.
  • The opening sentence is too long and confusing. Trim it down.
  • In the second paragraph, what is significance of the first sentence?
  • Similarly, the last sentence is good, but long.

Origins[edit]

  • The section titles can be "(year): description" ?
  • Mention something about their role in Creed.
  • Throughout that year, guitarist Mark Tremonti began writing new material – Replace throughout or remove it.
  • Tremonti and Phillips reunited with former Creed bassist Brian Marshall, who had left Creed in 2000 "and who" had been working with another band called Grand Luxx. – remove "and who"
  • remove "their" from as their lead vocalist.
  • to represent "choice" and "the unknown," and subsequently began recording their debut album. – what choice?

One Day Remains[edit]

  • Put commas wherever necessary.
  • Remove ( " ) from "[focus] on their future with new singer Myles Kennedy.". Also, why is focus put in []?
  • Released on August 10, 2004 "by" Wind Up.. Not on.
  • Use of # is not encouraged.
  • "Two more singles were released from One Day Remains: "Find the Real" and "Broken Wings." – what were the previous singles?
  • The album is also the only Alter Bridge album that does not feature Kennedy as a guitarist (although he did play guitar on several songs on the album's accompanying tour); this is because the album was almost completed by the time Kennedy joined the band. – Not clear. Rewrite.
  • Source for entrance theme?
  • The band would "later" appear with Edge in a backstage segment on an episode of WWE Raw a year later. – remove later.
  • A rare instrumental album? What do you want to convey?
  • The song was only by Mark Tremonti originally, but the rest of Alter Bridge soon got involved. – How did they get involved? Can you explain that? Or, what do you mean by "only by"?
  • Activiemusician.com seems like a copy of Wikipedia article. Not reliable.

Label change and Blackbird[edit]

  • Alter Bridge's relationship with Wind-up Records, whom Alter Bridge did not believe "share the same vision," began to weaken. – needs rewrite.
  • The band requested to be released from the label since the release of One Day Remains only to be rejected – poor language.
  • they had signed with Universal Republic – signed a record deal with Universal Republic
  • 'Later announced was that several versions of the DVD would be released, the first on September 12; – rewrite.
  • This version was overwhelmingly successful. – not neutral.
  • A Blu-ray Disc version and a deluxe edition to be sold in stores, however, have been the source of controversy as they have delayed by Universal Republic several times, causing frustration amongst Alter Bridge fans and band members, but the band is optimistic about its release. – source? And, kinda fails WP:NPOV

AB III[edit]

  • Reports that the band had signed to Roadrunner Records appeared on several online sources. – again, source?
  • not on Roadrunner records. But, "by" or "through" Roadrunner records.
  • You have not mentioned anything about Alter Bridge Recordings. How did they form it or when?
  • Source needed for second paragraph, first sentence.

Style and influences[edit]

  • Alter Bridge has been compared to bands, not artists.
  • Again, same issue on next sentence.
  • 'also due to what some critics noted as similarities to Creed's music early on. – needs fix.
  • 'Although Alter Bridge rejects this label, – "label" does not fit.
  • The paragraph seems like controversy and not influence.
  • Needs sources.
  • Often recognized for their live performances, the band generally does not perform in arenas and amphitheaters like Tremonti, Marshall, and Phillips did and once again continue to do with Creed. – ??

Controversy[edit]

  • Looks ok. I'll take a look again.

On Hold. Fix these errors. Novice7 | Talk 06:21, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed many of these but I am in a hurry. I will finish the rest later. Thanks for the review. Live Light (talk) 21:46, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It's okay. Novice7 | Talk 04:10, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

More comments[edit]

  • Despite Creed's multi-platinum success, Alter Bridge arose with only gold status with their first album, One Day Remains, which was released in August 2004. – Hmm... Reword.
It's been almost seven days, no response. Sorry, I'm failing the article. Novice7 | Talk 07:42, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
