MH Assessment Commentary[edit]

The article looks good. Two points though:

  • Dead Re-direct links: There are several of these. I would get rid of them, UNLESS... you plan on writing an article about "Thiokol TX-20" in the near future? If you are, then leave it. As for "experimental rocket", unless you are writing an article specifically with that title sometime soon, I would suggest you link the term with a similar topic, like [ [rocket#Cold War | experimental rocket] ] or something relevant.
  • Coverage: The Alpha Draco passed two of its three flight tests, and then the program was scrapped at a cost of 5 million bucks. Ok. Were any of the innovations implemented in future weapon-delivery systems? Was the entire program a failure that sent the guys in white coats back to the drawing board? What was the benefit of this program? There should be some conclusion here to wrap it all up.

I'm enjoying learning something of a subject I previously had no knowledge! Out. Boneyard90 (talk) 16:24, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Heh, thanks. I'm thinking about doing an article on the TX-20 soon, but I'll zappa the other link. As for the conclusion...aside from the whole WS-199 program providing useful data for Skybolt and MIRVs, that's all there is to say. But I'll add a sentence about the MIRV bits at the end. - The Bushranger One ping only 23:22, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
