Rostelecom Cup 2020[edit]

The result for the 2020/21 GP Rostelecom Cup has been changed several times to third place (first time here), in conflict to the ISU results page (which says 4th place). I have reverted the change once, but I don't want to revert the change a second time alone. --Kallichore (talk) 22:08, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Post-Olympics drama[edit]

While it made some news stories, a short bio doesn't seem like the place to include an outburst after an emotional competition. The article should just summarize her life and work. If she were later to stop skating, it might be appropriate to reference that as an early expression of strong feeling. – SJ + 21:23, 19 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Five Quads[edit]

Alexandra Trusova (17) is the first woman in the world who has been able to land 5 quad jumps in the same program matching Nathan Chen's record. She is also the first woman to land a quad toe loop, a quad lutz and a quad flip. Right now its safe to say that she has the most complex and difficult layout for the ladies free program in the world with 5 quad jumps with 2 quad lutzes in the 2nd part of the program. Then WHY all her very much possible gold medals were swept away? The answer is, she could have EASILY swept away all the gold medals by (mostly) her teammate Kamila Valieva who only jumps a maximum of 3 quads and a triple axel in the free program. But she chose to continue breaking records and making new ones to contribute to the ladies figure skating. As suggested by her OWN coaching team, she could have easily taken out some of her quad jumps and skate with a much easier layout content which could have been easier to get consistent but instead of the chance to win more titles and more fame, she chose to accomplish her own goals as a true athlete with desire and determination. She is the Quad Queen because she sacrifed a lot of titles and gold medals just to achieve her own goals and revolutionalize ladies figure skating. Someone actually did it and it was her. She earned it. Much respect. 78.185.245.125 (talk) 15:58, 2 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
