Diadem[edit]

Diadem (personal wear) says it is a type of crown. So, if "Diadem" is correct, then "crown" is correct. So, it would seem better to use a well known word, which is "crown". I've never heard of a beauty queen being "diademed", but I have heard of them being "crowned". If we don't use "crown", then we could just as easily use "tiara", which is more known, and according to Diadem (personal wear), is a type of a "diadem". We shouldn't try to be overly exact, since we have no source to guide us, other than original research. We at least have a source [1], which uses the term crown for what's on her head. No source says it's a "diadem". --Rob (talk) 23:57, 18 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
