Article creation[edit]

I've only created a pretty basic article which could do with a lot of expansion. In particular, all that I've included from his Daily Telegraph obit is his middle name, his place of birth and his date of death. Everything else apart from the Bibliography comes from the EBU obituary in English Bridge. The Bibliography info is taken from Amazon UK, and lists for each work the first edition that I could find. The number of distinct books I found was ten, which is encouraging as it agrees with the figure in his EBU obit.

Albert Dormer (1925 – 2014) at EBU --is that the entire obit (English Bridge, June 2014, p23)?
The wording in the English Bridge obit is slightly different in a couple of places, but the actual content is identical. JH (talk page) 07:52, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
External links {WBFpeople} service has been down for a few hours. That will be useful [probably also for Albert Benjamin ], as well as the library records for Books (below).

Books[edit]

The US Library of Congress doesn't always, perhaps not generally, hold or catalogue first editions published outside the US. Nevertheless, for Dormer it shows several editions earlier than those currently listed here. And one title earlier than all.

WorldCat provides catalogue records from participating libraries for many "Formats and Editions" of any work/title. From the page for one record (example) select "View all editions and formats".
