Aist → Aist (creek) – from the entries on the disambiguation page for Aist, this is clearly the least referenced and stubbiest, so doesn't appear to be the primary topic. Therefore, "Aist" should redirect to the disambiguation page AIST. -- 65.94.78.9 (talk) 12:53, 20 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Neutral on River Aist/Aist River - I don't think the 3 Russian "stork" (аист bicycle, аист hovercraft, аист monoplane) are as significant as the medieval and modern Aist area of Upper Austria around the river. Interestingly German wikipedia has a de:Stadt Aist article about a new-town proposal which was rejected by the Aist population in a referendum. On the other hand River Aist is what it is. Support Aist River, because that's what appears in the article right now. In ictu oculi, I'm not sure if you knew this, but this is actually an WP:ENGVAR issue. British rivers are almost invariably River X, whereas American rivers are almost invariably X River. So as I look at the article right now, I notice the caption for the picture says "Aist River", so that's my !vote, which of course is subject to change if someone comes up with a good reason for River Aist. Just letting you know that it's not "Wikipinglish" but rather good old-fashioned North American English (Canada too!) Red Slash 06:31, 21 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Support Aist River. Note that "river Aist" never has river capitalized; it's not being treated as part of the name there; whereas Aist River has caps, indicating treatment as part of the name. I don't know if this an ENGVAR issue; perhaps. The river was previously at Aist River before some claimed that the more ambiguous title was preferred, so it should go back there. Yes, X River is American style, Mississipi River vs River Thames. "Wikipinglish" wasn't that serious except that it's rather odd for a river in Austria. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:15, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
