Wrong Image[edit]

The "rooftop packaged unit or RTU" isn't a air handler unit. The RTU is a HVAC equipment by refrigerant compression.--Neurotronix (talk) 03:59, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • The article intro includes packaged units within the scope of the article. While there are some differences between an AHU and a RTU, the unit in the picture is definitely a packaged unit or RTU. Yes, it incorporates air-cooled refrigeration, but it still is a packaged unit where I come from. -- P 1 9 9 • TALK 13:11, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mention for DOAS (Dedicated Outdoor Air System)[edit]

Another way to describe an air handling unit that uses only outdoor air (and no return air) is dedicated outdoor air system (DOAS). --IanVG (talk) 20:22, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
