Notability[edit]

While have little information about this breathing technique, it is at least as notable as the other Yoga techniques (there being a category for them), and well-known enough to lend its name to the series Breath of Fire. Actually, I am surprised that this hasn't been referenced long ago. TomS TDotO (talk) 13:15, 28 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Because I've got no complaints about the above, I did a little (very little) to expand the article. I'm not going to do any more work with the prospect of all of the work disappearing. But I note that the article on Breathing technique has a list of several of them, including Breath of Fire (with a reference), and some of those are considered notable enough to have their own articles. I have no particular interest in pushing this point, but I would like to make these comments expanding on the above: (1) I received a "speedy deletion" notice, but there has not been the courtesy of a reply to the above (2) what is the motivation for my doing any work on this when any work is subject to deletion without discussion. There was never a speedy deletion request, it was a deletion proposal because the initial author failed to provide any references to establish notability of the topic. Once a reference was added, the proposal was addressed. Copyright violations will always be removed without discussion. WWGB (talk) 09:23, 4 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I was mistaken about the "speedy", and I apologize. To be frank about this, I am confused because I thought I got another deletion notice this morning. And that puzzled me. I guess that everything is OK, and I thank you for your consideration. TomS TDotO (talk) 12:41, 4 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
